The Anantara experience was born in 2001 with a luxury property in Thailand's historic seaside retreat of Hua Hin. From that day forward, this luxury conglomerate expanded throughout the world to cosmopolitan cities, lush islands, desert sands, heritage destinations, uncharted beaches and contemporary resort destinations.

Team Red Dot currently handles the media planning and buying for 12 properties across the UAE, Oman and Maldives since 2013.

The Task

Red Dot Media was tasked with handling the planning and buying for launch and sustenance campaigns since 2013. This included establishing and maintaining continuous brand presence in target markets and creating significant differentiation among the offers/promotions for each property as well as its competitors.

Our Solution

Red Dot Media formulated impactful media strategies for all properties across their target markets during launch and maximised exposure through added value editorials, press releases, FOC inserts and impressions and radio sponsorships negotiated annually for each property.

The Result

  • Sell out weekends for Anantara Palm within first 3 months of launch
  • Annual and Tactical Campaigns became a regular feature for the Anantara properties due to the success of the launch campaigns
  • Successful media management in the UAE led to Team Red Dot being awarded media projects for 6 more Anantara properties in GCC and Maldives
